30 Day Blog Challenge — Day 11

Day 11: A picture of you and your friends

Wow another one of those very broad-topic posts.  As a traveler, I have friends seriously scattered around the globe, from Australia to America, from Paris to Portugal.

Of course I have my friends here in Korea.  Many of them actually.

Here’s some of us enjoying a day at Suseong Land.

Many of us enjoying a Memorial Day rooftop BBQ in Daegu.

Spending “Children’s Day” basking in the glorious spring weather!

The award for “Best Friend in Korea” goes to:

Gina Casbarro.   Always friends, we started taking dance class together and have really bonded.  Such a smart, intelligent, cultured and funny girl!  I looked for a picture of me with Gina and her boyfriend Joel Fernandez, but such a picture does not exist.  They are a wonderful couple of friends and I’m sad they are not staying another year  =(

Second place awards go to:

Richard “Brody” Larose

and

….  Jensine “Always-the-stairs” Isip.

Now from back home… the bestie of all is:

Jennifer “Totes McGotes” Nicole, whom I have worked with for years and can tell everything to.

And as for the world… these people will always and forever be my friends.  It’s an inexplicable bond:

Wild West Day at American Village - Locmine 2008

And now my fellow nomad best friend, who has traveled the world with me:

Miss Heather “Nomad” Camp, who I cannot imagine my life without!

These are some of the most important friends in my life.   There are many many more, including Jodi McAllister, Brad Mercer, Jessica Zacny, Beckie Heithaus, Joshua Chamberlain, John Balagna, Sara Thomas, all my CELTA buddies and ALL my American Village friends.

You make this a life worth living!
