Last night I had dinner with many of the teachers from my school, including a former head-teacher that now works at a different school.  As the food was cooked and the soju passed around, he noted, “Amanda… she is just so happy.  It makes me happy.”   

It was in that moment that I realized I have a great life here in Korea.  I am surrounded by friends and people that support me.  I make good money, live a comfortable lifestyle and enjoy my job immensely.  I truly am lucky.
